5 minute Lightning Talk Slots
We have 10 slots available. Lightning talks will be in Founders.
- Each slot is 5 minutes
- You may have slides.
- For those who have are making slides, Remember Less is more!
- Ensure they are ready to go on your laptop.
- If using slides, always have a slide with your name, topic, contact info and link tothe project/subject you are talking about. Especially important if you aren't going to create a wiki page on your talk.
- Use 1024 x 768 resolution.
- Ensure your laptop has VGA output, or you have the appropriate connector
- Put up a page on the wiki with a brief outline AND your contact info.
- You will be timed using http://lightningtimer.net

30 second slots
Want to get up and say "Hi, this my project" or "Hi, we're hiring"? Great! In between the slots above, you've got 30 seconds to get up and say hello while the next speaker sets up.
Note: The 30 second "flash bulb" talks are talking only (no slides allows as the next lightning talk will be setting up at the same time. Therefore, please add contact details below, even if as simple as a link to a web page with further information and how can someone get in touch with you.
